with cultural policy by examining community musicians’ language and practices. Digital music-making and whole family engagement

Join Ryan Humphrey, PhD Researcher and Community Musician, to explore digital whole family musical engagement.
Using examples from his work on the Youth Music funded programme, ‘Loud and Clear Early Years’, Ryan will outline social pedagogical practice as an approach to facilitating whole family music-making experience.
While also providing
opportunities to experience different activities he uses online with families.
Along the way,
there will be opportunities for delegates to question, discuss and reflect on their approaches to music-making when working digitally with young children and their families.
